This Privacy Policy explains how Viewer’s Bingo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Twitch extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled securely.
Information We Collect
Identifiers
While operating, the Extension Backend Service (“EBS”) will come in contact with personal identifiers of different nature, the usage of which is described in the following subsections.
These identifiers can be:
IP addresses: Sent to us when the extension interacts with the EBS we do not store IP addresses as part of the service, but it can appear in monitoring information.
Twitch Opaque UserId: Twitch exposes a pseudonimized identifier, which can not be resolved to your Twitch identity.
Twitch UserId: After agreeing to sharing your information with us, your Twitch identifier will be sent to authenticate you to the service and will be associated to data generated by your usage.
When you configure the extension on your stream
Configuration information
When configuring the extension for your stream, you will have to enter information on what you want the Bingo to display to your viewers, alongside all other displayed settings presented in the Configuration view.
This information will stored associated to your Twitch UserId.
When you are a moderator
Moderator automatic registration
When moderating a stream using the extension, and once you allow sharing your Twitch identity, you will be identified as a moderator on the service.
To allow the EBS to notify service events to you we store your Twitch Opaque UserId alongside the current Bingo Game data.
To allow the EBS to display your username when you confirm or reject a Bingo proposal, we store your Twitch UserId alongside the current Bingo Game data.
Please note that as a moderator, you also will be able to participate to the Bingo as a viewer.
When you are a viewer
When participating to a stream using the extension, and once you allow sharing your Twitch identity, you will be identified as a viewer on the service.
We store your Twitch UserId, associated to the Bingo you participate in, this is a technical requirement in order to:
To allow the EBS to keep track of your own Bingo grid
To allow the EBS to mention your name when notifying the stream chat of your achievements
Operational Monitoring
We perform operational monitoring to improve our service and ensure its reliability. This monitoring includes:
Calls made to our backend service by streamers and viewers.
Retention of operational logs of the backend for a period of 30 days.
We do not collect any client-side analytics from the extension application running on your browser.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect and process. All stored data is handled in accordance with industry standards to ensure confidentiality and security during transmission.
Data Retention
Bingo data
All personal data is associated with a Bingo game, configured for a given stream.
All data associated with a closed Bingo game is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Bingo games left started are deleted after a year of inactivity.
Monitoring information
We retain operational monitoring logs for 30 days. After this period, logs are automatically deleted from our systems.
Your Rights
As a user of our extension, you have the right to:
Access any personal information we may hold about you.
Request deletion of any personal information we may hold about you.
To exercise those rights, please contact us on twitchext[at]conceptoire.com, after which we will establish your Twitch identity and proceed with your data request.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new policy on our extension and updating the effective date at the top of this policy.
